Recently the boys were recognized with their school's Top Dog award for their work. The award is given to students who show eight core values of wisdom, justice, courage, compassion, hope, respect, responsibility and integrity. The Johnson brothers are part of the POP (Protect Our Planet) club which heads up their Food Rescue SLEI (Student Lead Entrepreneurial Initiative) program at their school.
We commend the efforts of Brandon and Anthony along with the entire POP club at Jeremiah Gray for their hard work and dedication to Food Rescue. Because of them, people are being fed and our environment protected. We challenge all schools to follow the lead of these amazing fourth and fifth graders and recognize food is not trash! Keep up the outstanding work guys!
