Since 2010, INDY VIA's have raised over $177,932 with 57 telethons in support of the Food Rescue mission to empower students to lead the #FoodIsNotTrash movement in schools. These telethons represent 10% of Food Rescue's annual budget, and now over 56 million food items have been logged onto our K-12 Food Rescue Log Tool as "rescued" from our school and food pantry partners.

Facebook Live videos and all forms of social media have helped spread the word in the past as well. Copying the URL of this K-12 video featuring Food Rescue Led By Students With Special Needs also introduces people to Food Rescue in a powerful way.
